Basic Wildland Fire Training, May 28-29th, Aitken Creek

$175.00Knowledge of fire & fire behaviour. Training on how to fight fire safely.
Registration deadline May 24th ($175, no refunds).
2 day Basic Fire School:
- the first day will be in-class (8am-8pm, supper provided, please pack a lunch & snacks).
- the second day will be in-class and in the field (8am-5pm, please pack a lunch & snacks).
Training will be provided by Northern FireWoRx and will include ICS100, S100 and S185 which are all the basic courses required by BC Wildfire Service standards.
- S100 Basic Fire Suppression & Safety
- S185 Fire entrapment Avoidance
Before Training: complete ICS 100 (Incident Command System 100) study package and exam (optional open book)
During the Training: participants will complete written, oral and field exams.
We need about 25 people for each school otherwise we might only do 1 of the 2 schools (which will be decided after registration closes).
