Pasture Plough Project

Status: Completed

Project Timeline: January 2002 – December 2003

Objectives

  1. Coordinate demonstrations of the pasture plough for installing remote water pipeline.

Progress

  • Demonstration at Bill Wilson’s place near Dawson Creek in Oct 2002, attended by 40 people.
  • Pipeline was buried at approximately 15 inches, if moisture conditions are adequate it would be possible to bury line at 20 to 24 inches.
  • Demonstration of the plough in the spring of 2003 at Rainey Ranch in Lone Prairie.
