DESCRIPTION:**UPDATED PIN TO MEETING LOCATION:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/2Vz4iaPVAVkaC2Dc9?g_st=in.  Maps are below the poster.  We will meet here and then carpool to the site.\n Coming from the Alaska Highway: turn off hwy onto 254 road and travel 1.4 km.  Pullout is on right hand side (south side) of road and 100m before the junction with road 287.\n\n  \nREGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN – please select a ticket below. \n\nHere is a series all about soils in the Peace Region!\nIf you want to learn more about soil types\, matching forages to soil types and managing weeds these September Soil Workshops are for you!  Each day will include a basic soil map study of the site area\, soil pit analysis and comparision and soil texturing.\n\n \nSept 10: What are we learning about: revegetating pipelines and oil&gas leases.\nThe location is a reclaimed Petronas well site and access road.  We will discuss challenges and opportunities that can arise in oil and gas reclamation projects.\nThe full day will be spent on one site location.\nAttendees should bring a high visibility vest if they have one. We will provide additional vests for those that need one.\nAttendees need to bring a lunch\, snacks and water to be comfortable for the full day\n\n\nThis event is open to both professionals/agrologists/environmental field staff and to ranchers/farmers who are members.\nIf you are a member and an agrologist\, please choose the agrologist rate if you will be using this series for PD hours.  Thank you.\n\n \nFrom FSJ to Meeting Location: \n \nTurn off Alaska Hwy onto Road 254 and drive east for 1.4 km. \n \nPullout on south side of the road (right side).
